A lot of people in the Palisades had been dropped by their home insurance policies less than 6 months before the fires, and the red tape and bureaucracy to rebuild is atrocious, as you said.

$2,200 per sf to recreate their house I have heard.

ARBs, permitting, fees, fire marshal, environmental, etc are also a huge problem.

No telling how much the mortgage company took from the insurance proceeds. And the insurance did not provide full coverage. Back of envelope math is insurance paid ~$450 per sf.

Prior to being elected Mayor 4 years ago, Bass was a Physicians Assistant, California Rep and US Rep. Exactly what is there that qualified HER to manage one of the largest cities in the US? Those roles are FAR different than an actual leadership role. Besides, she's proven she's a politician -- which is antithetical to effective leadership. And we've seen the results of her disastrous attempts at such.

Watched this last night and it was a solid hour long conversation filmed last weekend a few days before the election.

There is no legitimate way that Noodles is suddenly surging and on pace to surpass Pratt, yet she is now with a 70% chance to do so on Polymarket.

Other than the obvious 2020 biggest rig job and steal in the history of American politics, I'm trying to think of a bigger rig incoming in recent memory. I'm sure there are plenty the Dems have pulled off but this one is certainly most top of mind:

0 of 24,834 to be exact. What's interesting is Bass got 12,850 votes in that drop and Nithya got 9,521 so she was much closer to Bass than all the votes up to that point while Pratt got ZERO.

Also what's interesting is Adam Miller (no clue who that is) got 1,227 votes while 5th place and worse received 1,236 votes. You have folks NOBODY has heard of getting more votes than the 4th place guy nobody has heard of while Spencer Pratt, who EVERYBODY has heard of, gets ZERO.
