anyone else remember an old ag at the protests standing in front of Sully saying "I've killed commies before. I can do it again."? I was talking to someone about that whole saga and they did not recall this exchange. I recall the shocked Pikachu face that cheesecake and friends made in reaction. Was this a fever dream I had?

I followed that event pretty closely. None of the older Aggies said anything at all threatening to anyone.

There was video of one of the football players (long gone now) threatening to "cut" one of the older Aggies.

I remember that exchange as well. the one i am remembering was in response to something said from the protesters. one of the reasons I remember it is because it looked like it was the first time they considered the chance that their radical ideals would be fought physically in some situations.

eta: I was following on this board and the online streams and was not there. so I may be completely wrong in my memory

The "worst" I heard from the old ags was him asking the student athlete, "are you an Aggie or a blaggie?"

I don't recall if the student athlete threatened to slit his throat before or after that statement. But that's the worst I recalled from all the Sully protest nonsense.

I woulda kicked every one of those punks off the team, but Jimbo "didn't do character" by his own admission. Sickens me what we put up with just to field a mediocre football team. I'd rather have a losing record than put up with scumbags like that.

Mond had Confederate ancestors.

The old Ag was Leroy and he asked the black football player if he was "an Aggie or a Blackie" and the Leftist jerks doxed and harassed him horribly.

There were 2 protests that I recall.

I reported from the second one.

I recall the second protest was hotter than hades and the main instigator was an Aggie track star named Infinite Tucker. This was the symbol of the protests with Mr Tucker atop it:

No, the word the old Ag used was "Blaggie," a term that according to the threads at the time was actually a word that a number of black students used to describe themselves.

Progressives use this argument against white people, whom they treat as guilty by association with white forefathers who held slaves or were segregationists.

Progressives often frame "Whiteness" as an innate evil that all white people are born with.

So someone might argue that since Mond (according to the research presented, whose truth I certainly cannot prove) is part white, he shares in the inherited evil that is Whiteness.

I believe Mond's heritage may have included capturing runaways, and slave sales in S. Texas and Mexico. The family history is murky.

I was standing next to the old Ag who said that. But the word was not "blaggie" it was blackie. And I cringed when he said it and braced for some physical contact. The protester was a track athlete, a hurdler. He pushed his way through me and that old Ag.

That was the same protest that the short but stout LB ripped his shirt off and got nose to nose with a big stout Ag who was in really good shape kept his cool That Ag showed great restraint without backing down.

It was not a fun evening. Hot as heck and very disappointing. Jhamon Ausbun was the ringleader of the athletes but then stood 20 yards away and did nothing. Mond was very involved.

IIRC, we were out there 4+ hours.
