I drove from Florida to New Orleans today and when i crossed the border into Louisiana someone had affixed a homemade "Welcome Freddy" sign

This is a solid third place performance of our anthem at a sporting event in my book. Whitney and Chris Stapleton still my top two.

it's a self selecting audience

the Euros who come over to the USA this summer are wealthier than most Euros

to afford plane fare, tickets, hotels, rental cars, week of restaurants.

the Euros who come over here do not hate the USA as much as many other Euros- who chose not to visit the USA.

the Euros who come over here are not the vast multitudes of Islamists who don't like soccer

Cruise ships are a quite different holiday. People are forced together and choices are few. I have hiked (early days) and worked in Europe, quite a different view.

Well sorry, I didn't scroll thru all the updates.

JJ Watt is still a class act. Somehow it still surprises me when elite defensive linemen, after their careers are over prove to be good/nice people off the field. Breaks my personal stereotype, which is great.
