I had three kidnapping quests from the same settlement, same victim, and same holding location.

The second and third time I went to "rescue" her there were no enemies and the cell door was unlocked and open. I wish I could tell the guy to keep his daughter locked up himself

How did you make the roof with the foundation? Is that what it is?

I just made a big hollow square with the foundation floor pieces, then went in and filled in the middle section with regular floor pieces. Gave myself a ladder piece in the corner to get down to the "basement" area.

Ah I see, I didn't see it right the first time. I thought you'd made the entire outer wall and roof of foundation blocks stacked on foundation blocks, which I thought was ridiculous.

Big Island to the southeast of the castle. Same enemy is there as what was in the castle.

Now I figured out why my character was walking around in slow motion. Like the frame rate was screwed up.

Unlocked the island last night. Can't wait to build a super base and power armor hangar there :-D

I've been putting a ton of time into the castle, I just about completely ranked up from a 35 to a 36 just by building on it. I might take some pictures but it would be crappy cellphone shots of the tv since I'm on the Xbox.

I basically built an entire second story even with the top of the castle walls where all the settlers and Minutemen live. I then built an elevate platform over all of that that I live. My house has a bathtub full of money (not fun to drop prewar money out of your inventory one at a time), a disco ball, pool table, multiple tvs, magazine racks, and a bobblehead stand. On the ground floor of the castle is where the crops are, vendor stalls, and a bar for everyone to hang out after work (the NPCs really do hang out at the bar for awhile after their work is done for the day). All of that guarded by tons of laser turrets, regular turrets and artillery. I closed off the blown out walls so the only way to get in is the front gate which is lined with turrets, nothing would survive a frontal assault.

How can you get multiple power armor stations in one location?

Just craft them using the workshop.

and the magazines, how the heck are y'all getting this detailed?

You can build a magazine shelf using a workshop, then you just transfer your magazines to it like you would any other container and the shelf displays them for you.

There are magazine racks you can craft.

Question I have not figured out ... can you manipulate items (i.e. pick them up and move them) on PS4? I can either take an item into my inventory or move if I am in build mode, but I can't figure out how to grasp something in first person view and just move it like we could in previous games.

Press and hold whatever it on you would to pick it up and put in your inventory (A for Xbox, I would assume X for PS4). You have to be directly looking at the object

I will have to try it again ... I haven't gotten it to work ... whenever I press and hold X, when I release it just puts it into my inventory.

Make sure your cursor is directly over the object and just press and hold, it's what I've been doing.

You have to be in build mode though. It is X though, just be careful....if you have a wall or something highlighted and press X it goes to your workshop.

Anyone else get nerd tunnel vision? I passed an old chicken coop earlier (IRL) and the first thing to mind was, "I BET THERES EFFING SCREWS IN THERE"!
