Speaking of time played what are yall's character levels as of now?

Got a little over 80 hours in and my dude is level 48. Definitely feeling the grind now though. I zipped through the 20s and thirties. the 40s are crawling by now...

26 hours, level 22

Not sure in the hours, but I did the idiot savant perk and my levels have been quicker since.

Up to level 44. Done with the main quest line. What's everyone's favorite quests? Silver Shroud quest bugged on me so I didn't really get to do it.

2 days played. Level 25. Most of that is messing around with farming and settlements though.

Silver Shroud bugged on me too but I finished it. Fun quest.

Have successfully slain all possible female companions. There's only 3 though....5 male potentials and 3 female. Freakin why?!?!

To anyone wondering about Ballisticweave -- it is OP. Even if you have joined the BoS, you can still join the RR so long as you haven't gone too far in the other quest lines. Join the RR, do a few of their quests then get the JACKPOT quest from PAM. Once you complete the first or second one, talk to Tinker Tom. He says something about the weave and then it is unlocked for you to use(get lvl 4 armorer to max it out). You can just mod your normal clothes after that point.

My military fatigues give an extra 110 armor on the body and another 110 on the head with an upgraded hat in addition to your normal armor, all of which can be worn under power armor. Pretty OP.

I did like 10 tinker tom (MILA) and desdemona find the dead drop missions each before I figured out Pam missions had the ballistic weave

Went caroling last night.

Kept looking for turrets on rooftops.

Its only OP if you don't use power armor. You can wear anything you want under power armor but none of the armor or stats will be active until you exit. (Or if it gets damaged) The worst power armor in the game is better than the weave so there's not much reason to use it. Its power armor that's overpowered. Even the mid tiers are nearly game breaking.

Power armor is awesome for the antenna missions with the railroad. Climb a skyscraper then just jump off

I love power armor because I like being a walking tank. Power armor is ridiculously overpowered though, which is how it should be really. It was armor designed for front line warfare against military weaponry much more dangerous than anything seen in the wasteland including Deathclaws, Mirelurks, and Super Mutants. In upgraded power armor you should be virtually invincible to everything except the most dangerous of enemies.

I can't imagine what the war of 2077 must have looked like in large scale battles. Thise guys in just regular combat armor would have been like WWI soldiers against machine guns and artillery when facing anything in military upgraded power armor. It would be really cool to have an entire game dedicated to the war that led up to the nuclear destruction. I know we had that one DLC, but I would love to see more.

I'm officially enemies with BOS so no more quests from them. I did realize that rather than get annoyed every time a vertibird was buzzing around, I get to be the one who shoots it down!

I think I have a full 10 suits of BOS armor parts just from going to war with them. I cleared out the Boston airport by going to the top of the parking garage. There's only one stairway up so after you proc them they come up that staircase all nice like.

I have the X0-1 Md III power armor with full military green paint so I'm basically invincible.

Funny story: you can be a friend of the BOS and still shoot their vertibirds down....well at least once. So I finished the game friendly to minutemen and BOS but still wanted to do as many missions as I could so I did a few railroad and institute quests. Im sent to help a courser on some docks recover a synth and random event where a vertibird is attacking some raiders and then the courser im helping as well. I fast traveled away, waited for the fighting to end, etc but they would always knock the courser into the water and when I talked to him I couldnt get the quest trigger to activate to further the story.

So I finally put a missile into the bird bringing it down and figured BOS would be pissed but when I traveled to the HQ nobody said anything. So you people who want to remain friendly with them but also want a suit of armor or weapons might give it a try. Maybe it just glitched for me and they will become hostile, maybe not I havent shot another one down yet.

I did that synth recovery mission and had some funny things happen as well.

The BOS showed up, I hid because I thought it would make them hostile and I was ready to choose a side at that point. Courser and then duke it out for a while and the BOS end up going after the raiders on the boats. The BOS in armor starts to walk a plank to the boat and it flips under the weight, straight to the bottom of the sea. I assume they drowned because I found the body underwater.

The courser then starts walking towards the objective in the water(finally stops when it gets to his neck) and I have to swim to get him to follow me.

Glad to hear I wasnt the only one to have trouble with it. That seems like a really terrible spot to put a mission that relies on their AI so heavily with all the narrow planks and boats you have to walk over. And then couple that as being an area where a random event can trigger is no bueno. Glad I got through it without pissing off the BOS, cause I was pissed myself, took like an hour before I finally decided to shoot the vertibird down and see what happened.
