I was thinking that, knew it wasn't venomous. My youngest sister discovered it on her outdoor furniture here in northern Grimes County, and texted the pic to our eldest sister rather than to me because she didn't want to have a text from me saying "Don't kill it".
Happy to report, by way of my eldest sister, that brother in law moved it away from the house. I figure the mice near litl sis's house are happier now.

I found this guy in the garage last night. Extremely venomous. The skin will look nice on the wall after I tan it. I think is too small for a hat band.

Black stripes on each side of head. Pointy nose that looks like a shovel. Classic eastern hog.

So everyone agrees, it's a coral snake? Looks like red on yellow to me but wasn't sure. Lots of homeless encampment in this area those boats should probably check their tent and they're sleeping bags at night

Yes, this is why the ole "red touch yellow - kill a fellow" is merely a suggestion and not ironclad. Plenty of variations out there with various color patterns/banding that disprove that jingle as you're now aware.
