Little kerfuffle re Kinderhill Brewery and The Wild Garlic Pizza, both of which were supposed to be moving into a brick and mortar place. Wild Garlic says they've parted ways, and Kinderhill says they'll be doing their own Detroit style pizza when the brewery reopens.

Yep, Nov. 22 last day. A couple conversations I've had with some restaurant owners suggested that they think they might be very short staffed in the near future and are making tough choices about what to close and what to stay open. Tai is a good guy and a good businessman so I'm happy his presence will be here come what may.
Yeah, there a number of restaurant called Japanese, but a number of them aren't Japanese
What makes them think they will be short staffed?
Tbh I'm not sure. I think a lot of businesses try, as best they can, to look ahead and read whatever tea leaves they can. A lot of our local BCS business owners are Mays graduates and pretty savvy so I take them at their word.
Spice World has a food truck. Unsure of schedule yet.

My old roommate was a Jehovah's Witness and participated in some of their church building projects.
They could have built four Taco Bell's in that time period.

Agreed they have done well with downtown in general. But the Lasalle will never break even on the serial taxpayer funded philanthropy. Break ground and open something before we should celebrate.
