Is this thread where we engage in the wild speculation he claims to be trying to avoid?
My guess? Deal with a battery storage developer for the county-owned land around the BTU switchyard down there

Calling a meeting on a Sunday? Yeah, nothing to worry about here, Millican folks….

In June 1865, Union troops came to Millican and took over the vacated Confederate training camp. In 1866, the railroad expanded to Bryan. In 1867, a yellow fever epidemic swept through the town and left Millican with a population of just 1,200 by 1868.

Also wasn't there talk of a millican reservoir being built for water supply in the past ?

I'm going with new international airport. Connections for the bullet train.
I don't think the dam was a bad idea, it would be nice if Brazos County had a real lake and most of that area is just floodplains anyway, which is one reason why College Station-Bryan is longer than it is wide.hopeandrealchange said:JP76 said:

After the embarrassment local folks put on the State and the Brazos river authority the last time they tried to push the Millican Reservoir I can't imagine that will ever see the light of day again.

Maybe it's a Millican/College Station YMCA with a Brazos River diversion pool that can also be used as the Millican off channel reservoir for water supply? Is Karl coming to the meeting too ?
