Thunder was shaking the house here. Our 2.5 yr old sleeps pretty heavy and it even work her up. I then had a head on my belly the rest of the night/morning trying to go back to sleep.

We've got big 8' windows in our bedroom so when it rains like that, it sounds like a freaking hurricane from the wind-ripped rain on the glass.

Long weekend visiting family, got back about 3pm on very little sleep. I probably was the last one awake at 9PM. So technically zero but we needed to catch up from Friday and Saturday.

2.89" in Denton. My recycling bin decided it wanted to be a boat and floated two houses down. Mature tree probably around 30 years split in two. Not caused by lightning since all wood was fresh.

Not sure what's up with the atmosphere lately but the thunder the past couple of nights has been straight up violent. I don't recall ever hearing thunder that loud.

To have back to back nights of that sort of thunder is just wild. Thankfully, at least for us in Plano, it was not quite as loud or as long as Sunday night but still was more than just a relaxing rumbling thunder storm.

two long nights without much sleep... little one got up again "mommy daddy protect me from the sunder"

That storm lasted for almost 2 hours up our way. It stopped around 1:15 or so and then fired right back up. No hail but I bet we got another 2" of rain. Mosquitoes are gonna be BAD in about 2 weeks, especially with the heat we're getting this weekend.
