I'm beginning to wonder if Gordo is the only one of the three that will actually be a good podcaster. George and Craig seem to just be treating it like a long radio segment but they don't know what to discuss because they already hit on the easy topics on their radio show.

Agree. I enjoyed the biography approach initially as it retold some stories they've told before as well as offered some details we hadn't heard, and then told it in more of a comprehensive manner than radio snippets. However, time to move on to some actual topics, but to your point, I'm not sure George and Craig are up for it. They now both hate to touch anything controversial at all, and Craig is some 60 year old dude discovering married adult w/kid life for the first time and has turned into mundane mom

I've always felt the Ticket hosts' favorite subject to talk about is themselves. The Podcast, to this point, reinforces that idea.

The podcast is not going to make Christmas, Gordon's Twitch is a much better format for his personality anyways.

Twitch doesn't hit my podcast feed. So i don't twitch. Maybe that makes me an old

I'm curious if this podcast was part of the deal with their reduced schedule.

I'll admit the last one was by far the least interesting but for me it's like learning more about people that I know. Which really limits their audience. I'd find it extremely boring if I hadn't listened to them for two decades.

I will have to say I did enjoy Junior's story of biking to his cousin's wedding. Just a reminder of a different time.

Podcasting is part of the ticket strategy to prevent another Dumb Zone situation. I won't be surprised to see a Hardline podcast soon.

CMLS stock is an interesting follow. They had the musers podcast announcement as a press release a few weeks ago. They seem to be trying hard lately to stay relevant in media.

Gordo asking Charles Haley if he thinks Charlotte Jones is attractive is why I keep tuning in.

That was like a pinch hit walk off homer.

That whole call was greatness other than Jr asking about the infamous locker room p on shoulder but.

Haley is a wheels off dude. About as close as it comes to an actual person being an 840 character...

The best part is that's from a couple of months ago, right? Training camp in Oxnard I think.

It's not like it's from the wild times of the Cowboys in the 90s.

Obviously meant Charlotte in my original post.

Was just in the car and heard The Invasion replay the last part of that interview... wow good stuff.

Playing Pebble Beach and being banned for two years for driving his cart on the green. "The whole thing is a green - I mow grass for a living" And "I told them they could ban me for 20 years because I don't care".

Then Gordo with the perfect landing question. And Charles saying hell yeah she's fine I been telling her that for a long time. And on Charlotte's husband asking about him calling her fine. "You better look me up before you step up on me"

Just hilarious.

It's a shame that the Cowboys expert that the Hardline has to go to is…. Calvin Watkins.

He's trying to sell it that way. Also called him Michael. Does the GM know who he traded?

I can't stand Jerry. He's killed any enthusiasm I had for the Cowboys long ago, but this press conference is just sad to listen to.

It really wasn't clear to me how much Jerry killed my joy than how little I feel about this compared to the Doncic deal.

all of the ticket hosts were dumber than dog **** yesterday about the trade, including Bob. They were all acting like they should have gotten a ton more, which is just insane. They essentially got the largest haul anyone has gotten in my lifetime. And Bob even said that the jets got more for Jamal Adams, which objectively is false.

It's like their management has told them they have to be anti-cowboys and anti-Jerry no matter what. Their takes were mind numbingly dumb, so I at least hope they've been told to be anti-Jerry no matter what and aren't reallly that dumb. You can agree or disagree with the trade, that's fine. But what they were saying was so stupid. And I'm not some die hard cowboys fan who always supports what they do. I watch the games but am not that invested.

I think it's telling that the cowboys thread on this site is basically unanimous in liking or loving the trade. Maybe the hosts are too involved in dumb social media posts and don't understand that a lot of fans are very happy with the trade and the haul they got back.

It's odd because the ticket has been blasting Parsons for years and how he disappears late in the season but now he's traded for a good haul and the ticket thinks it's a disaster. Seems clear management gave orders to be against it but also most of the ticket is dumb when it comes to football. It's college season and we get to listen to them echo whatever the old msm says.

i think a lot of at this point is just shock. is it an absolutely terrible trade? i don't think so. but it's def not a herschel-esque deal, nor is it the luka one. i think it's somewhere in between, with a lean toward not good for the cowboys.

but the facts are that the cowboys defense is going to be very bad this year.

I think the Jamal Adams trade was better for the Jets.

They got a player, 2 firsts, and a third.

I am in favor of the trade but think the cowboys could have gotten more if this trade was made earlier in the year.

The jets also gave up a 4th. So It was essentially 2 firsts and moving up from a 4th to a third. I'd much rather the Cowboys get Clark than move up from a 4th to a third. And I think the player involved in that trade was a throwaway.

For those saying they could have gotten more, I would need to see at least 1 or two trades in NFL history the past 20 years where a team got more. I do agree with your overall point that it would seem smarter to trade him before the draft. But if no team has ever gotten more than what the Cowboys got, then I think it's disingenuous to say they could have or should have gotten more (and for the Ticket, it's just the low hanging fruit/anti-Jerry take). They got one of the largest hauls ever, if not the largest haul. I'm fine with people not liking the trade. I just find it weird that all the hosts are saying they should have gotten more, when that's essentially never been done in the modern day NFL.
