If you narrow test scores down to only white kids, for example, you get:

Memorial: 90.6th percentile
Bellaire: 90.4th percentile
Stratford: 88.4th percentile

So the actual education quality is probably the same.

Interestingly a school like Clements in Sugar Land scores higher than all three, yet when you hold demographic variables equal you realize it is no better (white kids there score 85th percentile in the state, below the three above).

Clements is absolutely dominated by 1st generation Asians/Indians who don't play sports or involve themselves in non-academic extracurriculars. You almost have no shot getting into A&M or UT if you are a normal kid who isn't completely and utterly devoted to only academics, unless you are just a super-genius.

This, I never meant to imply this did not exist in places like Wilchester, Yorkshire, and even Nottingham...but it just isn't nearly as prevalent. I think it's because the Memorial area is just far more secular/Agnostic overall. 079 and 043 has a higher concentration of good Christians/Catholics.

In Cypress now, but from Spring Branch originally. Had to get away from the crime, noise and weird stuff. Plus Cy-Ranch beats Memorial, and even Stratford, by just about every metric. Tons of hot Central and South Americans at the HEB out here that definitely work out legs and butt. Their women aren't bad to look at either! Not priced out of Spring Branch Norte where I grew up, but definitely not paying $750-800k for a cramped fixer upper off Kirkwood or Wilcrest and I-10.
