I still support sumlin. If he makes a comparable hire at OC that he did for the DC, I'll be ecstatic with him.

I am waiting until after the bowl. How he handles to OC situation will be very telling. He is really going to have to pull a rabbit out of his hat and make a program hire. Part of me is convinced he is shopping an NFL gig while he can.

I like Sumlim. Besides, who else we gonna hire....

I'm withholding my support until I see what he does about the OC situation. What he does with that will determine my support for or against.

Still has my support. He may not be the Grand Slam hire we all thought he was a couple of years ago but he's had the most success of anyone since RC.

Sumlin still recruited Hubes AND got him after having KA and KM being here. I support him.

I absolutely support him.

The harsh reality is that 99% of the posters on this forum don't pay enough to have an opinion of consequence. So just support the guys in maroon and whichever assclown is selected to lead them for a few years with the disposable income of the guys who could have used that money to buy another tank..

Name the players who are better than JFF, Evans, Swope, the O-line, etc.

The cupboard is not bare, but I don't see a Heisman contender or a bunch of NFL first-rounders on next year's roster.

As a fan and as it pertains to this this site, I don't think there is such a thing as too loyal. I stuck by Sumlin until the bitter end and I was not a fan of the hire when he was brought in. I know recruits read this site and regardless of what people may say and want to believe, it will, over time, start to influence them. I know there will be a ton of people who scoff at this but that doesn't make it untrue. When I gave up on Sumlin (after Miss St) I just stopped commenting altogether. There is always the view that if we don't ***** and complain, those at the top will sit on their hands and stick with the coach. I doubt that would be the case. Hopefully we have the right man for the job (I firmly believe we do) and we won't see another one of these threads for a while.

to be honest, my sources are indicating that's there's not a very good chance Coach Sumlin is back next year.
