Personally prefer Concepcion due to experience and proof he can compete (esp with mediocre QBs at NC State). Hudson is very unproven and only going off HS accolades.

Glad to see him at least coming for a visit, but he's one of the hottest WR commodities as Bama, Aub, PSU and CU all are interested (high competition, drives up dollars and we didn't land top portal WRs last yr. due to this same issue).

If I'm not mistaken I think we were finalists for Micah Hudson along with Tech and sip. If he wants to stay in-state it should give us a leg up, right?

How much scouting does staff do at the FCS level for certain players? There has to be dozens and dozens of guys that were overlooked coming out of high school and still not that well know at national level due to the smaller market nature of FCS in general. Hopefully they are doing their due diligence

Bear Alexander has no business being on a list with some of those other guys. He left Georgia for the USC payday. He's leaving USC because it turned out he just wasn't that good.

I think we need 3-4 WRs, but want 2-3 that are immediate impact starters / rotation. K Concepcion would be (well, could be -- think in the slot as smaller) while Hudson has 'potential' to be (think would take time and part of the season). We need another 1-2 if they land these 2 regardless.

Not to get confused, Conepcion is above avg and production down in a piss poor offense play at NC State. The KY WR would be better, but don't recall if he's even looking at A&M.

Luckily we have guys on campus that already know the system plus we have 3 WR in our HS class with 2 being national top 175 guys.

Currently we have 8 WR. 6 will be Freshman or Sophomores. We really need a proven WR maybe 2. Unless the staff does not like the young guys any more than 2 will cause us to lose a few of them.

really what we need is the NC state guy and the Tech guy and give maybe try for the Georgia Tech guy and we can go to the playoffs

Why do we think we have "worthy starters" right now?
I understand we have guys on the roster who are currently "starting", but if they aren't NFL potential, we need to be rethinking things.

Always be looking to upgrade the roster where you can. If it's a toss up, then make a depth decision. But if it's a legit upgrade, we've gotta try. We're either trying to build a championship caliber roster, or we're not. And right now we don't have one.

As for Bussey, weren't we trying to keep him at DB? And just slid him to WR this year because of how bad we are at WR right now? And is he slated to move back to DB once we get legit "worthy starters"?

You are WAY over simplifying recruiting and roster management. You can't just go replace every guy with NFL talent. You have to pick and choice.
