His agent is smart to set it up as a bidding war between these 2 schools. Both sides will pay more just to not lose him to the other one.

I tend to agree.
Easy. We win. They have too many holes to fill and will not overpay for one guy.
Some other foolish program might give him more but we will win a bidding war with them if it is down to 2.

We had two 900 yard receivers this year.
KC is likely to get drafted in the first round.

Wrong! Cant speak for another program, but they need too many starters up front and a RB1. Cannot overpay for Coleman.

If Klein were returning, Id be confident we'd win this battle. We didn't change to a completely unproven OC last year, so it's apples and oranges.
They didn't have a WR in the top 30 in receiving yards in the SEC this year, and we had two in the top 5. But sure, whatever you say …
We might miss him because Texas will be more desperate. But we're not gonna lose out because WRs don't get opportunities to succeed under Elko.

Stupid post. I can criticize Klein for a play call and I have done that. That doesn't imply he's not a good OC in general. I've never once called for him to be replaced.

Just speculation here but moving Wiggins to OC may be big here. He had a long relationship with Cam recruiting him at Alabama.
That was my thought as well. I have no idea what Wiggins will do as OC but he's seen as a very good WR coach and recruiter. Neither us nor tu will outbid the other. There will need to be something else to make this deal go down. Wiggins might be the key.

Coleman played at Kyle and loved the atmosphere. But so did Dallas Wilson. So grab one of those two and it is great. I saw Concepcion at NC State. I was excited when we got him. I posted about him immediately. I think he caught some of our fans by surprise. And rightfully so as most people here do not watch NC State . Get Coleman or Wilson and I am happy and we have our next Concepcion level guy. Add them to Bethel-Roman, Craver, Bussey, Williams and others and our WR room is excellent.

I agree. Do people not look at these things called stats? Last year Klein took a mediocre collection of offensive talent and made it one of the highest scoring offenses in the SEC. He did the same thing again this year and added two high level receivers. You generally don't move on to a HC job if you are a bad coordinator.
That doesn't mean he always called a perfect game and there were a few suspect calls but on the whole he was very very good. We didn't lose our last two games because of the OC. The WRs were open but Reed failed to get the ball on time and target to them. It happens.
