If Mohammed is legitimately looking at A&M, go get him instead of shelling out for WRs.

Since A&M is obviously not looking at QB, Mohammed +2-3 starting OL +2 starting DL should be the focus. I think Will Lee can likely be replaced from within, though I would like to see the emergence or recruitment of a legitimate high level athlete at one of the safeties. The defensive backfield needs a serious athleticism upgrade.

i would anticipate we win this one. the reason? it probably comes down to just money. And Sark has shown and said that he won't overpay NIL money for just one player.

They also have more of a need to invest at RB than WR

Don't underestimate tech here. I am perplexed why he's such a priority. Maybe with Reed overthrowing everyone they want a bigger target? lol

He's a target precisely because of his different body type. The only guy we currently have on roster similar to Coleman is Jerome Myles, and he's got the injury bug bad.

Big and speedy WRs are a huge boon to an offense like ours.

There are other big WRs with some explosiveness that will be cheaper. I'm not saying we don't need any WR, I just question shooting our NIL load on him. I really like Nick Marsh a lot. Chase Sowell was injured a lot but reviews for him out of fall camp last year was that he looked great (and he's from Texas). Both those guys are 6-3 and over 200 pounds.

If we cab keep Craver and A-B-R I think our top 2. We can better spend our funds more strategically.

Gotcha, we're on the same page then. I suppose then we're courting Coleman because he committed to us as a HS recruit prior to Jimbo being fired.

Might as well try, and then we can dip out if the price tag gets too high as you suggested (and go get a different dude)

still have a 6'2 5star on the roster, 6'3 Gregory enrolled, and Madden Williams plays bigger than his size

Sounds like Sark is willing to give up production and depth in trade for someone like Coleman.

Betting against injury and other positions / units of need perhaps even

At some point its obviously a fools gamble but hard to say where that line is without knowing where all thr money is going and how much there is

All I know is the one thing we don't do is overpay. You don't pay him way more than other WRs like Craver get because that creates a locker room problem. After all, it's still a team sport. Elko of course knows these things.
