Feels like every big name linked to the sips has fallen through so I wouldn't be surprised to see them start throwing money around.

They wrecked the running back room to not get 1 out of the 3 they wanted. Going to have to spend all that money on someone.

They'll get someone to go into the portal.

So have things changed? You said price tag and we wouldn't over pay not possible to get to us and Bama and it be a price tag issue. If it's between us and Bama we have him.

I just said if it came down to price tag we will not over pay to get him. Meaning if we value him at $1M we aren't going to pay $2M to get him.

I saw a video from JD Pickell from on3 saying they were reporting that it wasn't about the bag. Is that true? I have no idea.

If he goes here then it's not the bag. If he goes anywhere else it is.

Everyone says it's not about the bag, but then visits the places willing to throw the biggest bag at them. Maybe he'd give up $100k to go to a more favorable destination, but the media members saying bag don't matter are just doing PR for him.

For the record, I have no problem with these players chasing the biggest bag they can get. Loyalty is a 2-way street in CFB. If you want players to be loyal to your school, pay them what they are worth.

He is worth 2 million to us we need him so we don't loose out on the 1.5 million on Craver because Craver needs him to be effective

$2 million is chump change if you win a national title.

Marcel, not being the most accurate passer, needs a Mike Evans to throw to. Coleman is that guy. Worth the money.

If Marcel keeps improving he will be elite as a passer by the end of next season. My bet is in the off season they have him seeing a technician. Someone of the stature of Jerrod Johnson or Tee Martin. Much like a pro golfer sees a swing coach. P

It's actually the complete opposite if he signs with Bama it's a big pay cut. Home state discount maybe plus the ability to stick it to auburn.. Don't see him leaving what could be at least a million on the table to go to Bama. Would be very surprised if it's not us or tu.

That's false hope. I think he will continue to improve, but he has an incredibly long way to be elite

Correct, Marcel would need to roughly quadruple his improvement from 2024-2025. Seems very unlikely

Seriously, it's pretty incredible we had two receivers put up numbers like Mario and KC yet they had such a sh***y QB according to some on here. The kid had a bad final two games. If he had played to the standard he had in the first 11 in those two games he wins the Heisman....so he went from realistically a Heisman winner to a terrible QB in two games according the zoo.

and no I'm not saying he doesn't need to improve. His decision making and decisiveness is the main improvement needed. Being on time and not late will improve accuracy.

Agree. And after reflecting, I think the wind in the UM game was a bigger factor in his performance than I first thought. Beck also had a bad game and looked way better against OSU.

He's a multimillionaire. He needs to buy the best QB coach that money can buy. If he improves only on his WR screen passes and accuracy under ten yards down field then he will be in Heisman talks.

If he doesn't and continues to blow up the WR screen by throwing the ball low and behind them while missing 5-10 yard open receivers then it is going to be a tough season.

I'm not even talking about his deep throw accuracy. Clean up his short game and we will be a scary team next year.

Those of us who were at the game watching the goal posts sway every 5 seconds and watching Beck miss everything said this many many times. People just had their emotional hatred blinders on looking for somebody to blame, and QB is always the easiest blame. The fact is, Miami adjusted to the conditions, and STILL barely won. Had Klein done any preparation or had any creativity prepared, we likely win.
