I feel good with the pieces we've gotten so far so if we continue like that I will continue feeling good. Coleman would be a huge get but I don't think we should EXPECT it.
About the same, like the guys we got, the LB sounds really good. Feel like when you look at the transfer portal ratings, these are all middle of the pack guys, so I am assuming we have not spent much. If we keep what we have and add a highly rated OT, Edge and DT and see what happens at WR I'll be happy.
I feel positive about it. We've been a beneficiary of the portal since Elko got here.

Feeling pretty good about it so far. Theo has been the only real miss and we're not done yet.
OL still worries me. A WR 1/2 would be helpful. Upgrading the secondary or at least creating more competition would be a plus. Like the LB from Tulsa. Round it out with a stud edge rusher and I'd be more than happy.
Like the TE from UTSA, Tulsa LB safety form CU and loooooove the kicker.

So far, the overwhelming sentiment is that we are getting a very high percentage of the guys we set out to target. Most of which were likely in part nudged into the portal by none other than us.
If you follow solely the rankings, you think it's meh. Portal rankings are kind of trash to be honest. Worse than HS for sure .
DL is still a little angst over how that will play out. We are going to end up with a top 3-4 OL haul. Coleman still have a shot with. But that's all over the place. Couple of big time DBs still to visit as well. How we close the DL will determine if it's a good or great portal haul. But so far, it's at worst good/solid.

I think Elko has addressed immediate position needs first. Whether the players he got will actually be good, we'll see. The Tulsa LB and the Colorado safety are great tacklers - a huge need. A couple of OL to fill the gap. And of course a kicker.
I think to make this portal haul an "A", we need to get a run stopping DT, another LB, and I wouldn't mind a big, bruising type RB (Mohammed from UW or Baxter from sip).

Excited about Echols, Olano, and the 2 Colorado defenders. Need a lot more though.
Hope the Tulsa LB surprises. Need a few more DT and at least another DE. Surprised we took a S instead of Corner with both safeties returning. Unfortunately, the two IOL make it seem like Bisontis is gone to the draft. However, I could see Bisontis moving to T along with Rogers and the two new guys at G with Nabou at C. That is not a bad OL. Need Coleman at WR. Also, we have lots of potential at RB but not any certain things yet.
Only 1 that we've signed from the portal is in 247sports top 200. So just based on that, it's meh at best.

Jaccarious Peak is 1 for sure. Hopefully KC can sell him

I feel like our staff has one of the best track records in CFB in the portal, so I feel good. It seems like they are aggressively targeting their guys and landing them.
This time last year I was worried about losing Noah Thomas and was unsure if Craver and Concepcion were going to be solid replacements. Turns out that was dumb. They also went and got Onyedim, Dayton Hays and some guy named Nate Boerkircher. They turned out to be pretty good.

We are getting the guys the coaches wanted so I feel great. There is some speculation we will have our potal additions finished this week.

Not excited yet. The OL players we got come from teams with horrible O Lines and the defensive guys come from teams with terrible defenses.

I can 99.9999% guarantee you that our staff chose these guys over tons of players listed in the top 150. Portal rankings are garbage at worst, need to be taken with a bigger grain of salt than HS at best. They just don't have the infrastructure to keep up with this warpspeed.
Whether they are right or not is TBD. But they are getting their fair share of their top choices.

We are getting who we want very quickly so feel good. Will feel great if this trend continues.
Elko can evaluate better than most, so I expect these guys to contribute. It's also refreshing to have a coach that goes after the obvious needs rather than ignoring them.

I hope we are in on running back Bryson Washington from Baylor. A big back (6ft 220) from near by Franklin, TX. Would fit an obvious need and has been very productive the last 2years

Peak is listed at 6'4" 308 according to his team's roster on the web site. He is mobile, agile, and hostile. Hope we can finish a deal with him to start on one side. Ready for our 5* OT Rogers to start on the other side before he jumps in the portal. I think Echols will play well here.
I watched a lot of him when he was at Franklin. Kid runs hard, I would like to see him added as well
