Ummm...we just rewatched about 10 times. There was no one even remotely close to offsides there. The only time anyone was off the ball hadn't been passed yet. When it was passed, there were 4 players between him and the goal. Great....

Apparently there is a rule that when the goalie comes out of the box that you have to have at least defenders between the offensive player and the goal. That's what rules guy said.

I haven't seen such obvious officiating bias since the Nazis hosted an Allied POW squad in a friendly during WW2.

Technically they can call offsides when the pass is made and a player is offsides, even if the pass doesn't go to the guy offsides. But they don't, unless oil money of course

Yeah but you still have to be part of the play. He certainly was not part of the okay at the point where he was offsides.

Just saying when the overhead cross occurred and came across the goal there were more than 2 defenders between him and the goal.

Even if it's the guy next to the guy that headed out, he was onsides when it was hit. The only guy ever in an offsides position was the one who eventually scored a few seconds later.
