Hypothetical question...

Assume none of the Mavericks were hitting their shots, except for Dirk. So the Mavs kept pumping him the ball everytime. How many points could he score against Thunder defense?

I'd guess that Dirk could put in 60 pts, if he absolutely had to.

Thunder look uncomfortable and slow against the zone.

Mavs don't need to use it exclusively, but it works to stop runs.

In case anyone was wondering about my ref comments, they are only half-serious. I don't think they cheat or try to fix games but sometimes I really do think they give teams the big benefit of the doubt when the other team has the momentum to prevent blowouts.

I think Durant is a great player. The only thing I don't like about him is that he played in Austin and Barnes uses him as a recruiting tool. That being said, if any recruit really believes that Rick Barnes "developed" Durant's game they are morons and deserve what they are getting into.

Durant is great.
Dirk is unstoppable.
But any of you thinking the Mavs are getting the raw end of the calls haven't watched any of the replays.

The Jason Terry on Durant foul disagrees with you. So does the Westbrook no-ball phantom call on Chandler.

Of course, Dirk hammered Westbrook early in the game for no call but the ball also went off of Westbrook out of bounds and they gave OKC the ball back.

dirk pushes off everytime, and its never called. sure.

I dont feel like we are being jobbed on the calls, the only Im unsure of is the fouls on terry, but I assume he is grabbing harden off the ball.

Thats the only bull**** foul so far, to me, for two reasons. That shouldnt be called a foul no matter what, and even if it is, terry didn't touch him and the ref that called it had no line of sight on the foul. anyways, good game so far, need to keep going at this team, and be ready for the 4th

I think the refs have called a pretty good game. Actually, 9 outta 10 Mavericks playoff games have had solid officiating.

But the refs have made 3 or 4 howlers this game. Mavericks benefited once, Thunder on the others. It won't be the cause of defeat/victory, as long as the minimize the ridiculous calls.
