These refs seem to believe that taking an off balance shot without contact = a foul on the defense. As long as they call it on both ends I guess it's fair, but I sure do wish they'd swallow the whistles because the pace of these two games is ridiculous.

From listening to Van Gundy when he calls a Mavs game I get the feeling he doesn't like the Mavs much. Must be from all those butt whippings he took while he was coaching the Rockets.

JVG was sorta right. The refs were 50% on that play. It was correct no call on Barea flop. But it didn't look like Chandler did anything wrong to me. Westbrook just flies out of control into people and refs buy into it.

It puts the thought in the refs head that there may be a foul, so russ knows that and attacks the rim.

Entertaining game, looks thus far this may be a home team wins kinda series.

Dirk isn't out of control. It looks awkward and his limbs are akimbo. But he's going to put up a decent shot. Westbrook looks like he's trying to come up with the 'craziest shot ever'.
