Nash back and beat the warriors on the road while Kobe playing terrible. Could it be a turning point?

Nash creating a lot of clean looks. Hopefully the offense flowing smoother will create some energy of the defensive end.

The NBA just announnced that Joey Crawford will officiate the remaining Lakers games for the remainder of the season, or until the Lakers clinch the playoffs.

The Lakers were 6-1 last year with the only loss in a playoff series against the NUggets and only after Crawford and the league felt the series lead was safe.

The league had to this point in the season, asked Crawford to call Laker games straight this year, and wasrelying on Violet Palmer and Kane Fitzgerald to help out the team. However, the league felt that Palmer was too grumpy once amonth, and much too prone to mood swings to be reliable enough.And Fitzgerald is just too boring and resembles Donaghy too closely.

As for Howard, any thoughts on him and Kobe not getting along? As a Mav fan, our only hope now is to pick him up in the off-season. We're hosed until Dirk retires and we totally rebuild.

Things are going to get real interesting for the Lakers this off-season. There is a almost certain chance that we'll never see a fully healthy Dwight Howard this season.

Kobe and Pau are done after next season and it will be rebuilding time. Do they Lakers want Dwight to be the centerpiece and does Dwight want to be a Laker?

Does Pringles keep his job? My guess is he's back next year regardless of how this year plays out.

I think he wants to be a Laker. He just doesn't to be Kobe's sidekick. He wants to be "Da Man" like he was in Orlando, and that ain't happening while Kobe is still around.

Winning solves a lot. I think this personality conflict disappears if you guys make the playoffs. Losing while having to eat his ego might be too much for him though.

Last time the Lakers were 15-20 was the '02-'03 season.

They rallied to make the playoffs and get out of the first round back then, but I'm not sure this team will. The defense is simply atrocious. Nash is not only slow footed, he acts like he doesn't understand basic defensive concepts.

Good effort last night on the road against a very good Spurs team, but they need to bring it consistently.

Well it didn't end well for us. Still can't believe we lost to Detroit.

Shaq was also hurt and fat during that first part.

Dwight looking as healthy as he has all year last night. If he brings that every night, then we just might get things turned around.

Pau is back from his concussion and will come off the bench tonight.

I like the idea of Pau playing down on the low block with the second unit.

Tough loss tonight. Guys fought tooth and nail, but 20 turnovers (16 in the first half) did us in.

I liked Pau off the bench and think it will stick going forward.
