Guys like Bledsoe and Crawford have been Grizzly killers all year then you add in CP3, Griffin, Barnes, Butler, etc and the Clips have too much ability to counter punch whatever the Grizzlies throw at them defensively, while the Grizzlies offensively are playing with about 3.5 players. Prince and Allen can't be relied on for scoring consistently, and they are getting very little offensively from the bench outside of Bayless (who is streaky).

Hopefully the Grizz can get back in this thing but the Clippers have shown they can win in Memphis.

Wish Gasol would take the open shots more often.

It's like he has the open jumper, passes on it, and they end up with a worse shot.
And he usually makes it.

If they play like that in the 2nd half, I like their chances.

Of course, I worry about the Clips 2nd unit playing better in the 2nd half.

Big difference when DJ and Blake go out and Ronny Turiaf and Ryan Hollins come in instead of Kenyon Martin and Reggie Evans.

Of course, the Flops perimeter players (2nd unit) are so good.

I think it comes down to one team playing better, the other not playing as well. Hollins said they didn't do any adjustments, just played harder.


Mike Conley was pretty sick though, and he didn't have a great game. So hopefully he made Chris Paul sick, and recovers for the next game.

Yeah Conley was definitely not at his best. Was it me or did the refs start calling fouls on all the Floppers crap last night?

I was thinking...hmmm...maybe the NBA wants this to go 6 or 7 games.

Maybe the refs actually watch film of the series?

I can never figure out why when Zach attacks the rim, some games he'll get to the line 8-12 times, while other times he gets nothing called, but mauled. Last night, they made calls.

I missed the game but listened to the radio this morning and they said the Grizz forced Paul to his left more than he is comfortable with. Also that the Grizz bigs showed hard on the pick and roll defense which helped take the ball out of Paul's hands more.

Also helped that Pondexter chipped in for 10 points off the bench, with Prince not having a good series so far, important that they get something out of that position. Radio guys were saying to play Pondexter a bit more at least for the home games where he can feed off the crowd.

Win today and it turns into a best out of 3 series.

At game wearing my lucky Grizz shirt that I think the Grizz are 1 and 3 when I wear.
