Grizzlies with a dominant win tonight over Miami. Hope you got to watch the game Iowa.
Yep. Just got done watching it (I watch about all sporting events on DVR).
Outstanding, and I'm not sure what the best play was, but I would nominate Rudy's ball fake to get by LeBron and then dunking over Bosh. If it wasn't NFL Sunday, it might be a top 10.
Although I could see LBJ's reverse layup getting on there.

Everything besides garbage time was unbelievable. Made the Heat look like scrubs.

Big game tonight against OKC. Hopefully the Grizz will play well and show they are a force to be reckoned with.
Good second quarter after a slow first. Up by 11 at half.
Great win tonight by the Grizzlies. Rudy Gay was clutch.

Initial twitter reports had reported that ZBo and Perkins getting in an altercation by the locker rooms after their ejection.

Rasheed Wallace picks up technical foul #1 tonight.

It was nice to have Hubie Brown on the mic, and not have Doris Burke constantly talking about James Harden.

Besides the one loss to the Clippers, the Grizzlies have beaten everyone else pretty solidly. Could not ask for a better start to this season.
First time in franchise history: Grizzlies on top of the NBA.

Missed the game tonight. How did they play?
To put in perspective, in this past week, the Grizzlies have snapped Miami's 4 game win streak, Okc's 5 game streak, NY's 6 game streak, and Charlotte's 3 game streak.
That is the NBA champs, the Western Conference champs, the last undefeated team in the NBA this year, and...well, a team that ain't as bad as last year.
Their current record extrapolates to 73-9.
I'm just trying to enjoy this brief moment in the sun.

I'm not so sure it will be a brief moment. If the team is healthy, they can play & beat anyone.
I love the way they play. I am scared to death of the Grizzlies.

I just wish the Grizzlies could figure out how to beat the Clippers. That is the only team right now that gives the Grizzlies problems. I am excited to see the first match up between the Grizzlies and the Spurs.
The Grizzlies are winning games now because of the extra possessions they get on teams.
They don't turn the ball over too much.
They make their opponents turn the ball over a lot.
They get offensive rebounds.
Not sure the shooting of their 2nd unit will continue, but the Nuggets and Lakers this week will be good tests, especially the Lakers.

Outstanding piece on Zach Randolph in Grantland, and it includes a story I have heard Steve Kerr tell, but I never knew it was Zach.
Randolph once asked 14-year veteran Steve Kerr when the team would be off for Christmas break. He also was repeatedly fined for not meeting his rookie weight requirement.

Bad game tonight. Outrebounded badly on the offensive glass, didn't get loose balls, and played too careless..
Time to regroup before LA comes into town.
