It could be a preview of a first round matchup, or hopefully a playoff preview of some type.

Especially since the basketball gods always assign them to Clippers, Spurs, and/or Thunder for the playoffs.

Mike Conley ankle sprain could be pretty costly.

I would be surprised if he plays tomorrow against the Bucks.
It might make them less likely to drop a game they should win.



6 straight road wins, all opponents at 90 or less.

Right now, Grizzlies in 8th place (although if Mavs beat Kings, they go back into 8th).

Back to 9th in the West, but their record is good enough for 3rd in the East.

And I'm sure whatever WC team ends up in 9th, they are going to have the same complaints.

I am not worried about were the Grizzlies are in the standings right now. They are playing as good as the best teams in the league. If they keep playing how they are they will make at least 6th.

Interesting match up tonight, and I always find it interesting on how they match up with Dirk. I could see Gasol on Dirk, and vice versa because Gasol is such a non threat on offense.

Delambert will match on Zach and give him some problems because of his length.


Monta loves to play against the home town Grizzlies.

Could be not good.

Need to win at Orlando tomorrow, hope for a Mavs loss tomorrow against Pacers, and could really get help from Heat over Warriors.

According to Woj, T'Wolves and Grizzlies discussing deal that includes JJ Barea and Chase Budinger for Tayshaun Prince and Tony Allen.

That would be pretty ballsy to unload Tony Allen, a huge fan favorite, but would love the two they would be adding. Good riddance to Tayshaun.

Missing the game tonight. I was given tickets to Dallas vs Miami. Excited to see LeBron play for the first time. The greatest players I have personally seen in my 22 years so far are Kobe, Shaq, Nash, Dirk, Durant, Duncan, Parker, Ginobli, McGrady, Pierce, Allen, and Garnett.

If they can stay healthy I like Their chances to win enough games for what would traditionally would be good enough for the playoffs, but I don't know if even 50 wins is enough or even 51.

The Suns keep winning, amazingly.

I think it is the Warriors that can be caught.

Apparently Grizz claimed Beno Udrih off of waivers after NY waived him, which I believe is different from picking him up as a free agent.

Not sure how that matters for his contract.
