I really want Doncic. I really don't want Bagley or Porter. The reports on all of his teammates hating Porter and his ridiculous quote comparing his game to the best part of the games of Durant, Giannis, and Mcgrady was enough for me to say no thanks.

I really want Doncic too, it's just a matter of cost. (I don't believe he falls past 3)

Porter may very well be the next Durant. But his health issues shy me away from him.

I think we all want Doncic, but I don't want to sacrifice the future with what it would take to move up to get him.

Either of the Duke guys, Bamba or Jaren Jackson would be fine with me if we stay put. My preference is Carter or Bamba.

Dream, ultimate fantasy, make a wish, wet dream scenario:

• Acquire 4th pick + Parsons for Barnes+33.
• Draft Doncic+JJJ/Bamba.
• Tank again, draft top 5 next year.
• Sign max FA in 2019 with 4 young lottery studs as the core.

Yea if Doncic is gone, I'd snap call this trade. I know Fultz is currently ****ed in the head with his shot, but you're getting the first pick from a year ago as basically a throw in. Of course, it somewhat worries me that Phili is giving up on him so easily so makes me wonder what they know that we don't.

^This screams smokescreen to me. Everything I've read and heard until this point is that the Mavs are taking Bamba. I think it's pretty obvious they're just trying to stir the pot on some potential trade back offers.

I've heard there are rumors of Boogie to Dallas. Really hope that doesn't happen, but if that's the plan I wonder how it would affect the draft.

They've shown a tendency to like certain players, fail to acquire them when they're good, and actually get them when they're run down.

They tried to get rondo for several years and he sucked when they got him, same for Lamar Odom, Cousims is coming off a major injury, when are these guys going to learn?

I wish we could get a real GM

i personally think the problem starts with the owner. Donnie isn't a dumb guy when he's actually allowed to do his job. And the Rondo thing was a disaster but this past season proved that he can still play at a high level. Rondo was insanely productive in the playoffs. Sucks he and Carlisle didn't get along.

He also wanted to draft Giannis but was overrulled by Cubes when they took Shane Larkin.

Also the dynamics of this team have completely changed. Before it was all about 'win now' and putting pieces alongside Dirk to get a contender. The draft was always put on the back burner as Free Agency has dominated the Front Office priorities. Curious to see how it plays out. (And so far, it's been good! DSJ was a great pick)

get the 15th and then take best player available at both spots. draft is basically a crapshoot with no player being a guarantee. So why not acquire as much young talent as possible and see what happens?
