I bet Wemby doesn't play today - because of the Minn injuries. The Denver series will go on longer now with Minn, giving the Spurs less of an urgent reason to push Wemby possibly unnecessary.... and they've always been super cautious with him in the past. Seriously limited minutes AT MOST, IMHO.

Minnesota outscored Denver by 20 points in the 2nd half without Ant or Dante.
I see no reason why they can't win one game out of 3 without them.

I disagree.
First, as has been said, if he's cleared protocol, he is good to go.
Second, if you have a chance to close out the series sooner, do it. There is no need to put yourself in a must win situation. The longer Portland hangs around, the more of a threat they become.

From what other people have said in this thread and from what I know, he may be cleared the 48 hour protocol, but he still needs to be cleared by the NBA doctors correct?

And I agree you need to put the opponent away as soon as possible to get your boys some rest. We've shown that we can beat the Blazers without Wemby. We just need to do it again on the road and then have Wemby come back home and close it out.
No matter what!
