Choice (OF) batting .177 sent down. Needed to be.
Smolinski (25-OF-AAA) signed in offseason as a FA brought up.

Utility IF Donnie Murphy (31) picked up off waivers during ST as a FA - hitting .196 - DFA'd.

Roman Mendez (23-RHP) was called up to make his ML debut. I believe he was Rule V eligible this past off-season and thus... getting time to really fish or cut bait with him. I hope this is a good chance to see if he is ready to play the utility RP.

Two sh*tty teams going back and forth. Isn't that what everyone wants to watch?

Rangers will get 2 runs this half of the inning.

I'd be a whole lot less upset about the way this year has turned out if next year didn't look to be a whole lot of the same.

Gallo getting time at 1st base now... Among other things that means even the Rangers are taking the approach of "we're not sure if Prince Fielder will ever be Prince Fielder again".

A lot of things went right for those 2010-2013 squads to be as good as they were... Right now the club is building towards 2016 and beyond and crossing their fingers they can strike gold again.

Beauty. And fearless for a guy that just had his face wrecked on a dive this season.
