Oh yes. You were definitely right then and now

I think it was early 2024 and I argued that Hunter had potential but just wouldn't figure it out. And France had a pretty good 2023 so I trusted him more going forward. Yikes

A couple notes on Teng:

- He was much better the last month of the season (4.41 ERA vs 8.78 prior)
- He was significantly worse the second time through the order (.342/.490/.859 vs .173/.317/.644)
- Limited innings but was better as a RP (0.00 ERA in 5 innings with 4K, 1 BB)
- He throws 5 pitches but really only two are good (sweeper and change are great). Need to figure out which fastball works

They likely make him a RP and focus on 3 pitches. I mentioned his two great offspeed pitches. My guess is his sinker will be the pitch they work on. It showed significant improvement from 24 to 25 and outperformed the actual stats (xWOBA .340 vs .483 WOBA). That tells me infield defense was done level of an issue, which should improve.

My guess is they're going to have him spam sweepers vs RHH out of the bullpen. Right now we're entirely to lefty heavy even though our lefties are good at getting RHH's out.

Highly doubt it.

France was out of options. This arm with upside that can be moved around when roster moves need to be made.

Really good. 3rd best RP vs RHH, only behind the Padres and Red Sox.

20th best RP vs LHH. I guess we're overloaded with reverse splits.
