Seems like he should be working on throwing strikes

LOL- make an obvious comment and expect an obvious response. I'm sure every player is working something specific.
Do we know what the coaches are wanting from Ullola- did he add a pitch, or maybe needs to control a curveball better, or something like that?

I find it hard to believe they are trying to get him throwing new pitches when he has 0 control. He needs to go back to the minors and become a flame throwing reliever and work on whatever two pitches he can actually get over the plate.

We probably said the same thing about Brandon Walter, Jason Alexander, or any of the handful of AA pitchers we saw last year.

Or, and stay with me here, it's just Chandler being the little b-tch that he is. Even if it's somewhat in defense of the Astros.Beat40 said:
Chandler's comment is him saying "well duh the new team is saying they're going to fix the guy who didn't do well at the previous location."
He's throwing shade at those, I'm guessing in his comments and on X, who are saying see, the Astros hitting coaches sucked because the Blue Jays coaches essentially are saying they sucked.
I'm not commenting on the former hitting coaches one way or another, just commenting on Chandler's response.

Isn't he in the Hall of Fame? That would seem to warrant getting your number retired.
That's my point. He's not monkeying around with a new pitch or anything like that when he's trying to prove he's a big league caliber player with the coaching staff. What he's been doing simply is who he is right now.Buck Compton said:MaxPower said:

"Back to the minors"? Dude has literally never been in the majors and was just now added to the 40-man to protect against Rule 5. He won't be on the opening day roster.
