What is Raymond on tonight? Thought we turned a double play, when the ump made a very obvious safe call at first. Then on Tolbert's at bat just now, thought he struck out on strike two.

-Andrew McCutchen has made the team
-Zeke Duran has made the team
-Kumar Rocker is the 5th starter
-Jacob Latz is in the bullpen

Definitely feels like the right call out of the gate pitching wise. Latz is still going to pitch a ton and likely could be the first reliever out of the pen so long as its not in the 8th or 9th inning.

Please excuse my ignorance. I have YouTube TV. What is the best way for me to watch the Rangers this season?

Interesting scenario in todays Ranger game…. runner on 1st, 3-2 count on batter…. pitch is called call 4…. runner moving from 1st to second on the pitch pulls up into a trot to second on ball 4, catcher still throws down and tag is applied….. pitch is challenged…. still a ball so everything is fine……. but if pitch was overturned to a strike, batter will be out……. but is baserunner gonna be out because he was easing up because pitch was called ball 4
Gavin Collyer recorded 2 strikeouts on the night, the first of which was on a 99 mph fastball to Josh Rojas that had a vertical approach angle of -3.3 degrees.

His second strikeout of the night was also on a fastball, this time to top Royals prospect Jac Caglianone. Collyer hit… https://t.co/YyrDAluyDW pic.twitter.com/FYCpsuwU8n

I am watching with the sound down, and not seeing every pitch, but he did look good. We could end up with a pretty salty starting rotation if they can stay healthy.

Center fielder Pete Crow-Armstrong and the Chicago Cubs are in agreement on a six-year, $115 million contract extension, sources tell ESPN. The deal starts in 2027 and does not include a club option, allowing Crow-Armstrong to hit free agency before his age-31 season.
