Look at Amex blue
6% on groceries 3% on gas 1% everything else
We use it for groceries and gas exclusively. Mastercard AA exec card for everything else.
SWA visa for Costco.

Just got my new Hilton Aspire in the mail. That makes one each for me and for my wife. The annual fees are high, but having two makes the fee night certificate make more sense. Most people don't sta somewhere just one night, and now we can stay somewhere nicer without having to foot the bill in cash or points for the second night.
As with most high fee cards, though, I don't expect these to be forever cards.
Im looking at a Hilton all-inclusive in Punta Cana over Christmas break. We've got 3 FNAs now (or at least we will when these SUBs register). It's not $2k per night, but still in the $800-1000 range for that time of year. I like the idea of a 100% free mini vacation (minus the tax on the flights).Ag CPA said:Jeeper79 said:

Probably my favorite card; we just booked a stay with FNAs at the Waldorf Astoria in Cabo over MLK weekend that has 250K pts/nt standard rates (have to use FNAs on standard rates) and starts at over $2K/nt that weekend. You also get $200 every six months to spend on resort stays and $50 every quarter for airlines to help offset the AF.
The Diamond status the card gives you still has some teeth for upgrades, lounges and breakfasts, especially internationally.
