I like Vin Santo on Memorial as a good wine bar good BTG.
We tried Vin Santo this weekend and really enjoyed it. Casual, comfortable atmosphere and the staff was very helpful. Thanks for the recommendation ... will definitely go back.

I was just saying the Argentinian open flame grill set up in the driveway looks great and be variety of meats and veggies looks great too. Seems like somewhere I Would want to spend a Saturday afternoon. I have a smaller Argentinian grill but this set up is better than mine.

Yep. It's very versatile. The poster "The Pitman" built it for me a few years ago. I have several planchas and grates for various foods. Sometimes I'll even throw food right on the coals and then brush the ash off. We cook with cast iron saut pans on it too. It's just a lot of fun. We have two block parties a year with our neighbors which is always a hit. Last night was for some friends but a bunch of neighbors came down anyways. They know the rule: if the fire table is out then everyone is welcome. Just brings meats.

How was that Bea Sagrantino? I've heard mixed things about Bea in general but love the grape.

For my money, Boudreaux is the finest appellation in Louisiana.

I've always been curious about the photos you guys post with multiple bottles open after an evening of sharing (not so much a formal tasting).
Do you open multiple bottles at once and let guests choose which ones they will taste? Or do you open one at a time and everyone has the same wine until that bottle is gone?
