I'd like to pop into the alternate universe and see if Jeff Van Gundy would have had a better record than Billy Kennedy.

As for what will be the Texas opening, I've seen some references that they may make a run at Tommy Lloyd. Have also seen a lot of Texas fans keep bringing up Jay Wright, but that would really really surprise me.

I spent some time thinking about this the other day. I wonder what the NIL situation is at Wake.
Here are a few names in the mix for the Florida State job, sources told @TheFieldOf68:

Celtics assistant Sam Cassell
Kings assistant Luke Loucks
UAB coach Andy Kennedy
Arkansas State coach Bryan Hodgson
Samford coach Bucky McMillan
Duke assistant Chris Carrawell

Most attractive? I think that job sucks. FSU is a school I think we'd actually have a chance against in an open market.
Source: Sacramento Kings assistant and Florida State alum Luke Loucks has emerged as the leading candidate to succeed Leonard Hamilton as Seminoles head coach. Story coming

He's a decent coach and Wake is a hard job, but I don't think he's proven to be anything special. He has enough NIL to get players like Sallis and Reid to Wake and I imagine Wake alumni can be swayed to put more towards hoops as they can actually compete there, whereas they can't in football.bobinator said:JJxvi said:
