I expect an improvement NEXT WEEK. We need to fire the hitting coach (who was going to get fired at t.u. for sucking anyway) and hire a real hitting coach.
Kinda hard to do at this point in the season. It's kinda like dating in your 40s, all the good ones are taken.
Hitting coaches? Come on man. Those guys are a dime a dozen. Anything is better than Longley's homerun or bust approach. Same thing he did in sipville.
Alcock is feasting on setting up that outside breaking ball and our bats are biting on it non stop it seems like.

I'm biased but I think our weekend rotation could compete with the best in D-1. It's too bad the rest of our team sucks.

I know it's his buddy but Earley should give longley a farewell check tomorrow and take back over hitting coach duties. I don't care how much those two talk ball he's been a massive negative for this team at the plate

Alcock at 81 pitches through 6. Putting zero pressure on him. So frustrating to watch these hitters. But it's a one run game!
