Pretty broad range of candidates. From Beard to this guy that coached high school 5 years ago.
I think Farr has the best arm out of these 3 OF'ers and it's not particularly close.

I think I'd be checking their bats after that last HR. That was a lazy fly ball off the ball that ended up 40 ft over the fence.
We'd still be down 4-0 with very little chance of making this somewhat of a game, but that one was a little suspect.

I agree with this. It's cool as an adult to get a ball, but it a life time memory for a kid.

Can you imagine the memes if we asked for a bat check? From consensus preseason #1 to a bat check while enduring another ass kicking.
If they couldn't find a big name then it was a bunch of JAGs or up & comers to pick from. Seems we picked an up & comer hoping he'll become a big name. For aggie basketball that's fine by me. Makes sense going from a very expensive "sure thing" in Buzz (who did nothing here) to a cheaper promising young guy.
