We scored in every inning except for the third, pretty darn good. Their ace lasted four innings.
Auburn just had a walkoff in the bottom of the 7th to beat Georgia 11-10, good for them !!

Another close game - Iowa State scored a run in the top of the 8th and held on to beat #18 Okie state 5-4 in 8 innings.
Excellent win for the ladies! Take the series tomorrow.
Our offense looked absolutely deadly today. No swinging at bad pitches, put together great ABs and had hard contact on the ball all day. I'm loving what I'm seeing up and down the lineup even in the catcher's spot!

Torina always whines and complains when things aren't going her way. She's annoying as hell and fits that place perfectly.
A few years ago she pitched a fit in the old venue and made us take down a camera in the outfield because she thought we were cheating.

Haha I think I remember that. I was sitting third base line today and she never looked happy outside of the 2nd inning, it was great to see
I couldn't tell what she was saying but the guy coach (hitting coach?) was complaining about the strike zone the entire game.
Umps just love those kind of coaches.
I think if she keeps playing like this, Maya needs a strong look at All American and all SEC honors at the end of the year.

Anyone know if this is a school or NCAA record? As in one of the fastest thrown? I know about Tennessee's pitcher earlier this season. But idk if this was even the fastest pitch lefty threw in the game! My best guess is she hit 76 about 5-8 times this game. That inning she struggled, she was pissed and her velocity was up up up! Wow!
Just getting a chance to check as I was driving for 3 hours to go see the grandson play in a soccer tournament this weekend. I listened to the radio and Lsu's coach was complaining about the strike zone and if Amari was crowding the plate when she got hit. Also,the time she went up there when Mya was at bat she thought Mya wiped out the batter'a box line.

Fastest pitch in NCAA history is 78.2 mph, Kennedy was definitely getting up there. Trisha mentioned in her press conference that she didn't like to see that bc she doesn't want her overthrowing.
Tried to make it pretty clear that 1.) I know about Tennessee's Pickens record this year and 2.) would it be one of the fastest pitches thrown in history albeit in the top 10 or fastest ever in Aggie history. I get what Coach Ford is saying about Lefty overthrowing and she's said a few times this year that Lefty is her own worst enemy. Despite all of it, it's an incredible display of talent that I think deserves to be recognized if it is in fact a record. And again, as I mentioned, she did it several times in different innings.
Kennedy hit 76 a few series this year. I don't remember seeing any previous pitchers ever throw that fast. So Kennedy probably owns the record but not sure if tonight was the fastest. I would say tonight she hit that range more often

My daughter tells me I am wrong. She says Kennedy has been 75 in the previous series but this was the first 76. So that may have been a record
Fast is good, but concerned about Emiley's pitch selection. Counted one pitch in the 60's but ALL the rest were fastballs in the 70's through the first 4 innings (if I saw that right). Started adding off speed stuff in the 5th. LSU was absolutely sitting on the fast ball in their big 2nd inning for 6 straight hits and a sac fly. Lefty still able to get most hitters with a quality fast ball, but seems like changing speeds would be a big advantage.
Pretty pumped for today's game. Weather is gorgeous. We've got tickets behind the plate.
