I'll admit I don't watch much softball so figured I could get an answer here. On Dement's homer when she reached first base the runner on first was still standing on the bag. It looked like Dement had to wait for the runner to step away from first. What was going on there?

It always sucks when the zone changes batter to batter. If it is the same the whole game, big or small, they can work around it but not when it changes every minute !!
