Florida scored 8 in the top of the 7th and barely hung on to beat Ole Miss 14-3.

In the top of the 7th the sooners have scored 2 to go ahead of Bama 2-1. Still have runners on 1st and 2nd with only 1 out. Darn.

Unfortunately I wasn't able to go today, but my wife (a former d1 pitcher) was watching her pretty closely and told me she thinks she got overheated. I suppose it's possible.

But at least found out today that Sidne has back issues. Have been wondering why we have not seen her recently. Figured hurt in some way but did not know for sure. Will take her some time to get back in the groove but she's a great asset to have for the rest of the year, especially in the post season tournaments.

Overall it was a good game. Wonderful weather (even though warm in the sun). Glad we got to go out to watch. But that ump was very inconsistent.

It is an all male umpiring crew this weekend vs LSU. Just mentioning that as someone mentioned a female ump from earlier this season. So definetely not her.

To me the one piece of the puzzle this team needs is Peters to get healthy. I think she has pitched twice in SEC play and been great. Just not able to go very often
