If we had any pitching depth at all, it may not be a big deal. However, the guy we are hoping can start tomorrow has arm issues and hasn't thrown in 3 weeks. Yeah. Glad to have won - but there are legit concerns as to what it took to do it and what we have left going forward.

Freshcorn threw like 17 pitches. Didn't even break a sweat and is nowhere close to being burned.

I left to mow the lawn at 3-5, got the zero turn
stuck, about threw my back out trying to push it out by hand, broke 2 ropes trying to pull it out, went to get a chain from the flatbed toolbox and the toolbox was waterlogged after I just put new seals on it. All while covered in deet and wearing a headnet for the mosquitoes. Ags better pick it up because I'm not doing that again.

Only "best" arm that got burned was Lyons. Freshcorn was sub-20 pitches so he can go tomorrow if necessary. There is really nothing concerning about it - the biggest hole in this team all year has been pitching. People can either recognize that reality or continue to get frustrated when pitchers give up runs. Early rolled the dice with Sdao and the team managed to scratch out the win, which sets up better for tomorrow with Sims starting. Make it through tomorrow with a win and you roll with Moss and everyone you have to win the Regional in 3 games.
