However. You cant deny that it's hugely concerning that we had to burn 3 of our "best" arms including our only truly reliable guy to finish off a team we beat 25-5 in the regular season. If we had any pitching depth at all, it may not be a big deal. However, the guy we are hoping can start tomorrow has arm issues and hasn't thrown in 3 weeks. Yeah. Glad to have won - but there are legit concerns as to what it took to do it and what we have left going forward.

Only "best" arm that got burned was Lyons. Freshcorn was sub-20 pitches so he can go tomorrow if necessary. There is really nothing concerning about it - the biggest hole in this team all year has been pitching. People can either recognize that reality or continue to get frustrated when pitchers give up runs. Early rolled the dice with Sdao and the team managed to scratch out the win, which sets up better for tomorrow with Sims starting. Make it through tomorrow with a win and you roll with Moss and everyone you have to win the Regional in 3 games.
