@Brauny, just watching this recruiting update today and a question occurred to me that I'm too curious about to let go of.

Does there tend to be any sort of unspoken division between recruits who commit to a school early and the guys who either committed or flipped to that school late in the cycle? Like on a relational level, is there maybe a little less trust and brotherhood with late commits and flips than with early solid commits? This kind of stuff didn't happen (with baseball anyway) back in 1990, but I feel like IF it did, a lot of us who were either long-time commits or were already on the team would tend to question the true commitment of a late flip since A&M wasn't their first choice. And because of NIL now, I think that it could even be worse: Lotta dudes gonna think that the flip was largely about money, not about having a true change of heart. Hard to expect a mercenary to truly have your back.

As a fan, if it takes a flip to add a 5-star, I'm certainly not going to be upset about it because I know that it's worked out great at times in the past...but I DO wonder if that whole dynamic might possibly cause enough clubhouse discord to make the juice not worth the squeeze in some cases? Can't get the class of 2022 out of my nightmares.
