We were also really spoiled in the 2008 olympics when a lot of key finales were able to air live in our primetime. Maybe that will be the case in Russia as well.

I am really bummed that the Olympics are over. There is just something about them, every time, that sucks me in and requires that I watch the events nonstop. I love them.

The good thing is that I'll finally get more sleep... these games have been kicking my ass for 2 weeks.

agree. i've been staying up until 12:30 or 1:00 every night just to watch them.

I've been leaving the TV on all night. I usually watch a dvd trying to fall asleep, but I was just watching the late night show with mary whatshername.

As much as I liked NBC's coverage I can't believe what they pulled last night. Breaking from coverage of the closing ceremony for the marriage ref? Apparently NBC was under the impression people were on pins and needles waiting to get Alec Baldwin's take on how to make a successful marriage.

Then again, it's the same network that could continue to show curling the rest of the year and beat its standard primetime lineup on MSNBC.
