Not trying to overreact after one game I am just predicting trends I can see us falling into.

Obviously tough to walk away with just a point from that one but we're here and we're here to stay. This team will figure out how to finish opponents once the season gets rolling.

On a side note did anyone else notice the rivalry feel tonight? It's always a big game when we play the Hawks but after Roussell taunted them last year in Chicago they were not happy. Add on the fact that Jamie Benn steamrolled the whole team in the first period we were really in there heads. Could be interesting to see how the next four games against them play out. Should be fun!

Just finished the game. Man are the Hawks a bunch of whiny little *****es. I can't wait to crush them later in the season.

Overall it was an encouraging game to hang with one of the best. We have some serious team speed. Gonna be a fun year.

I might have been a little harsh at first but after watching "Lunch With the Stars" today, I am feeling pretty good about this team. We actually have top 6 personnel. The addition of Eaves, Spezza, and Hemsky was a genius move. Its comforting knowing that after the Benn line goes off the ice that there is no huge dropoff of talent. Top to bottom we have a really gritty and fast team which I'm sure will cause havok for a lot of other teams.

I also can't wait until this Power play gets more experience. They will be a dominant force. I personally like Daley on it as opposed to Goligoski but I'll let it play out.

I realize this is a complete retraction from my post last night but I'm gonna work on posting knee-jerk reactions until after I sleep on it.

That being said it should be an interesting and fun year! #BthoPerds (yes I spelled that right)

So I turn to the Stars to salvage a little bit of my evening and then they just lie down like ****ing dogs. ****ing retard athletes have no ****ing pride anymore. Pay me my ****ing money and I'll just get ****ing ass raped the final two periods. I would be ****ing embarrassed. Let the whole team take the bus home to Texas.

Was at the game. The Stars took an excited Jackets fan base and deflated it quickly. Physicality was impressive and made the Jackets look pretty silly between the blue lines with the amount of errors they had. And after the comeback, the penalty kill of the Stars took the fans out of the game. Great game by the Stars. Good luck the rest of the season.
