Mary is slated to play. she will be automatic into the main draw by ranking. Lexington right now is sitting outside the qualifying rounds. More people need to drop out in order for her to get into qualifying.

Mary, Mia, and Lex might play next week, but have to wait until Sunday to find out. They will all play IN Austin the week of the open.

The girl Nicole played was a top 20 ITF junior and won the girls US Open 2024 doubles title, she's legit

There is a 12thman.com press release for the Ann Arbor tournamet, released yesterday with the scores. By the same person I e-mailed recently asking why no press releases with results went out during/after the tourney in Ft. Worth. Did not get a response from him.
It is always hit and miss with them. But can always get info here on TexAgs - groovy!

Daria goes against Ohio State senior Shelly Bereznyak. In her sophmore year Bereznyak accomplished a "10-match winning streak in completed matches [then] after dropping match vs. Texas A&M won next eight completed".
Nicole plays Oklahoma senior Ava Catanzarite. Lulu beat Catanzarite 6-2, 6-4 last month.

I got home and started watching when she was up 3-1 in the second set but then she lost several games and it got interesting. Almost turned it off, jinxing her, but I KNOW my watching has nothing to do with her performance so kept it on - glad I did !!

those are both very good wins for the girls. It was a very windy day today, both Nicole and Daria struggle in those conditions so it was great to see them overcome that. The girls Daria played is and has always been a defensive almost pusher player. she was like that when we played ohio state a couple seasons ago, Daria struggles hard against pushers so it was great to see that as well.
Daria and Nicole have to win one more match each to advance to the NCAAs. They can lose one first before winning. (Six of the eight quarterfinalists advance).

Mia and her partner won their doubles match today at the WTA125 in Michigan. With the win they advance to the final. One of the girls they beat today has a career high doubles ranking of 27 and singles of 40.
Gosh, a final in a WTA125, that's awesome !!

I guess that's the point of having a ladder and building depth! I will say, Daria looks to have improved her mental game. The question is, can she carry that over to the spring and still see success?
