Missing your best forward might actually have been what the doctor ordered. That and it was clear Gully told them to shoot the effing puck lol. They didn't rely on or defer to Mikko, they simply just shot the hell out of the rubber. Robo had nine shots on goal by himself, and 17 in total. More of that please.
And for as much gruff as Robo can get here and amongst fans at times, I think he is actually instrumental to this team. He is is the foremost shoot first player we have, and I think he drags guys out of their "pass first" mentality when we need it. I also think he's much more of a leader of this team than we give him credit for.
Last thing; Duchene with Wyatt and Ritzy Ritz worked and I would try it again. Justin and Wyatt seemed to drag Duchene up to their level of speed and play and I liked it a lot. When Mikko comes back I am putting Robo (shoot first), Hintz and Mikko together. Not because Wyatt is bad, but more because I think Wyatt can elevate Duchene's game.

On DLLS they talked about how Justin took way more FOs last night and did pretty good. Since they are all 3 centers the dynamic works pretty well to share especially if there is something going on with Duchene that we dont know about other than his melon. Besides old age ha ha

I agree with basically everything he's included in his article, and funny enough I think they did a complete 180 of basically everything against Boston.

Oh and I think I would put Nill is his S tier. I think a lot of our issues are roster construction related and that falls on Nill, and Castillo points it out, just believe it's more of the main issue than "Possession" which in my mind comes from the roster Nill has constructed.
