The McLovin parts were the only redeeming scenes in that "film".

It was pointless and, even worse, rarely funny. Perhaps entertaining if you are in an altered mental state or under the age of 18.

Well Jules, the funny thing about my back is that it's located on my cock.
If you don't think this movie is funny, then you have a poor sense of humor, or are very prudish. Its like one of my friends who turned off Pulp Fiction because of all the cussing
The only people that didn't like that movie were jerkasses who spent their lives at 18 locked in their room by their parents on Friday watching Disney Channel and reading Archie comics.

If you don't like bathroom humor, you won't like this movie. However, if you don't like bathroom humor, I don't know if you ever really enjoy anything.
I am not a prude and don't mind bathroom humor. I just didn't like the movie. I don't see why it's a character flaw to not like a movie.
If you only watched the 1st 30 minutes, I could see how you hated the movie. Wife and I watched it recently and I had the thought to turn it off after around 30 minutes as well. Luckily for us, we kept watching. The last 30-45 min of the movie are where the magic happens. The dancefloor debacle, cops + McLovin, etc are all pretty outrageous and funny, even for an adult. You gotta sit through the akward 1st half to get to the golden 2nd half...IMHO
Haven't seen it, have no desire to see it. I, apparently, have no sense of humor whatsoever because I also don't like Seinfeld. But that's ok because at least I wasn't a loser in high school.

I like Knocked up, Anchorman, 40 yo virgin, American Pie 1 & 2, Scary Movie, and didn't really like Superbad. Mclovin was funny, but the two gay guys were really really bad.

Like most things Apatow, it was good yet highly overrated. With that said, unless you've been living under a rock for the last year, how could you not know what you were getting into when you rented it?
That is a movie about ******bags, made by ******bags, for a ******bag audience. A truly terrible POS flick enjoyed mainly by virgin teenage males.
