Finally got to watch the new episode last night. The illegal alien wisecracks were hilarious.
It's really a shame that the guy playing Peter Gregory passed away. He's really funny in that role. The progression in his mind from sesame to the cicadas to investing in Indonesian sesame to financing those guys was fantastic.

The first episode was alright, but with the second and third it's jumped up to the second priority DVR spot after Game of Thrones.
Peter Gregory killed me the last episode with his whole Burger King bit. I had no idea where he was going with it and it ended up being about my favorite part of the episode. That and them all repeating their names over and over.

Silicon Valley and Veep are both great. One has Matt Walsh, the other has TJ Miller and Kumail Nanjiani. Can't go wrong either way

When the actor girls at the party mentioned that there are male actors and they panned over to the guy talking to a very shy girl, I lost it there.
And the bathroom scene where he's wetting his pants, was good comedy.

It really sucks that the actor who plays Peter Gregory passed away. That guy is NAILS and a classic Judge charcter.
Very good episode. I kind of got a Michael Scott vibe from Rich a couple of times in this episode in a "maybe he's incompetent, but I still hope he pulls it off" kind of way. Works a lot better in this context than it did in The Office though, and I loved the office.

To be fair, he looks pretty different. He was really young and awkward looking in Freaks and Geeks, and he looks different now. Imagine if Dustin Diamond (Screech) had been able to transition from looking like a super dork to looking like a pothead.

If you him and said "oh that's Bill from Freaks & Geeks" and you didn't say or include "Oh that's Roman from Party Down"...well congrats for having watched F&G because that's awesome...but you're definitely missing out on one of the better comedies in the last decade. Go find the handful of episodes of Party Down and watch them. You will greatly enjoy.
