Started a rewatch yesterday, I was instantly happier than I was before I was watching it. Not happy in the Ted Lasso sort of way, but in the Erlich Bachman way, which is the opposite of Ted Lasso.

Definitely miss this show. The success-failure cycle was tiresome at times, but I would've kept watching anyway.

Erlich Bachman is what made that show what it is. Had me laughing out loud in every episode.

Also, the rant about car doors is absolute gold.

Working in tech and having been through a startup, the greatness of this show is just how perfectly satirical it is.

I wish I lived in a world where TJ Miller stayed on the show and each season was a satirical take on the most recent big tech issue. There is so much comedy gold out there to fill up seasons of this show.

Remember when he decided to leave the show because he thought it was holding him back? Then he got cancelled.

Jared picked up where Erlich left off in the laughs department.

I've never laughed harder at the season 5 finale when he told one of the guys at the camp "do you want to die today MF".

Also, when Richard visits Jared's apartment to bring him back and he has multiple women giggling in his bedroom in the background.

Jared is an all-time great character, especially in those last few seasons

Also the arc where he breaks the new kid at the office until he is BSC is amazing.

So yesterday I rewatched Season 6 Episode 2: Blood Money. I do believe it has the single funniest scene in the entirety of the show. When Jared rebuffs Richard again and Richard insults both Jared and Gwart, and Jared snaps, its just incredible. Jared talking about being state raised and not being scared of catching a case. Going after Richard with Jian Yang's pellet rifle. Jared kicking in the bathroom door as Richard bails out the window. I was on the verge of tears I was laughing so hard. I had forgotten how much they really ramped up Jared in the show after Erlich left. I've also loved how perpetually Gavin keeps losing at every turn, the step by step description about what happened at their manufacturing plant in NC was also one of my favorite things ever on the show.

Most of Jin Yang and Erik's interactions were hilarious, but probably my favorite was when Jin drops off Erlich at the airport -- Erlich is trying to have a meaningful goodbye and Jin throws his suitcase onto the ground and takes off peeling out without saying a word.


Jared with the sunglasses and "whatever" vibe at the end was hilarious too.

Ironically my kids were looking him up yesterday on one of his movies. I talked with him and said I loved his work. Took a stalkerish pic from across the market.
