Am I the only one that doesn't care for Rhea Seehorn? Not in a Skyler way - I just felt like she's a little flat footed on the acting side. Maybe she'll redeem herself somewhere down the road.
I'm having a hard time understanding why this was a "slow" episode...
I'm really enjoying it so far. It's better than I thought it would be.
Just watch all three episodes last night so I'm going to try and add to what I've noticed.
-Was Huell the courtroom officer that was sent to get Jimmy from the restroom?
-The broken windshield on the car was a nod to Walt's window always getting broken, have to believe it will happen a few more times.
-Jimmy won't be able to represent the Kettlemans because they already signed an agreement with HHM.

While I don't like the idea of a bunch of recurring characters from BB making their way over I do think it would be cool to link the two in very discreet ways.
Kinda like one of Saul's BCS clients walks into his office after an memorable BB scene has taken place. We see Saul running around frantically as we see Jesse or Huel or someone from BB marches out of the office while Saul is yelling at him. BCS client walks in and it moves on from there. So we get no real interaction with the BB characters but a scene from BB lines up chronologically with a scene from BCS.

BCS is taking place well before BrBa, so not gonna happen. Unless there are flashforwards.
Right now it is before, but since we started after BB (him working at the Cinnabon in the mall in Neb) I took it as that's where we'll end. Meaning that eventually there will be some overlap.
I didn't take it that way, but I suppose it's possible. I figured it would move at around the same pace as BrBa did, where it all takes place in a couple of years. But who really knows.

I hope to see some random BB references, like when Saul is driving through Albuquerque neighborhoods and one of the houses he drives by happens to have a Pontiac Aztec and a Jeep Wagonneer in the driveway, or when Saul is walking down the street a cameo of Bryan Cranston as WW walks past. LIttle subtle things like that would be cool.
Or one of his clients is having their house fumigated by Vamonos Pest.
He should get his car washed at Bogdan's, and Bogdan runs his mouth. Saul of course finds a way to get back at him.
Right, I know the first scene is after Breaking Bad, but I sort of got the feeling there wouldn't be much time devoted to that. In fact I figured that was all we'd see post-BB.

No kidding. Let me know when BCS has an episode like the housefly episode of Breaking Bad, and then we will compare notes about BCS being "slow." Remember, Breaking Bad took a few episodes to hit its stride, and even then there was an ocassional WTF moment. The Fly Episode is at the top of that list.
This is going to be a good show. Episode 3 convinces me of that. However, if not for our love of Breaking Bad we would have torpedoed this show after the first two.

1. Previews showed them offering Saul money to forget it. But I think he offers to be their lawyer because if he is their lawyer, then he can hide behind "Lawyer/client confidentiality". And then like someone else said, he gets Nacho off his ass by letting him know where the money is.
2. I doubt they would actually have Saul's character tainted (pun intended) by being a true sex offender, so the last definitions on that link provided above for Chicago Sunroof be correct... he probably was fighting with someone, got the upperhand put his ass in their face.
