"Bet you're driving a white caddy..."

Nice little nod to the LWYRUP mobile.

When he is thinking of B words during bingo. Something like "Belize, a nice place to visit. Although I've never been there."

For the sake of plausible deniability, in BBC Saul would insist that someone "went to Belize" rather than got killed.

Great finale. Understated, just like I was hoping for.

Jimmy now knows his path.

Probably top 3 or 4 episode of the season, imo.

Very open ended. Just not the cliffhanger some people craved. The season was good enough that I will be back for more.

The foundation has been laid. Overall a good season.

I don't need a cliffhanger to end a season.

But this was a slow episode. While it did turn Jimmy into Saul, it wasn't something that intricate or crafty.

Not a bad episode. But no where like last week. That said, very solid season.

Loved the season but this was one of the weaker episodes IMO. Looking toward to its return next year.

Loved it! Ready to see more classic Saul. And Mike being Mike. This was a setup season like BB season 1. It's bout to get goooood.

I thought the episode was a little understated, but it seemed to be setting things up for more interplay later. Jimmy just can't shake Chuck yet even after letting him know how he really feels and now we know why Kim can very easily fade out of the picture when she helped pull off the interview meeting and he stiffs it.

We can even see some Hamlin interplay later since he was able to finally come clean it was all Chuckie and he was just doing his bidding.

A little disappointing but overall the season was good. I wonder if one reason the finale was anticlimactic is they didn't know If the show was getting picked up for another season when it was filmed? It would have given us closure if it was only a single season.

I think the transition will take some time but could be dramatic enough to end Kim and chuck quickly. I would guess Kim and chuck are around until the end of the second season.

Pretty sure other than the finale the penultimate episode with these guys was the big one.

I think alot of you have unrealistic expectations for each show. Enjoy what they give you when they give it.

Seasons don't need to end on cliffhangers. BCS ended the way it should have: closing the book on Season One and giving us a strong clue as to what to expect in Season Two.

Instead of making us wonder "How's he going to get out of this?", they simply ended this chapter in his life. Now, they writers are free to go wherever they want to start the next season: the next day, next month, a year later. And they can either just drop us into Saul, or continue to introduce us to him.

Sorry if you wanted a cliffhanger, but I believe they ended this season in the best way.

Season 2 is nearly completely focused on Bogdan's back story, according to reports. He is introduced when Saul takes his new car to the car wash.

Wow. That's obscure. I had forgotten all about that character and had to look him up.

Great Season - and I loved the ending to the last night's episode. That being said, I did find myself wondering how much time was left a few times during the whole Chicago scene. That just drug on a little too much.

All in all though, can't wait for more next year.

I didn't think it was understated. I expected more subtlety, more craft. The conversation with Mike on the way out after ditching the meeting with the Santa Fe firm didn't really ring true to me. I expected a little more than the overt "I know what I am and what I want to do" line, or whatever it was. I also felt like the subplot with the scammer buddy was a little too convenient.

Both of those things felt too "on the nose" to me, like they were rushing to tie the transition/evolution up with a nice bow.

I expected a little more from these guys.

I still don't understand why he wouldn't go to the meeting.

Yea it's weird to me that he decides to "break bad" when he finally has a chance to get what he's always wanted all these years...a lucrative job with a big firm and being able to work on a big case he developed. IF I was finally achieving my goal, I don't think that would be the time I would say "screw it."

It was stated earlier in the thread, but I was almost certain he would go into the meeting and the guy he scammed with the coin would be the lawyer for the other firm. That would have been the best way to end it, instead of him just deciding to skip the meeting. Doesn't matter though, I really enjoyed this season and think it will only get better from here.

It did feel as if they wrote themselves into a corner half way through the last ep and just ran out of time so they had to just make a convenient turn at the end.

I felt like he needed one more push. I get it that his buddy made it clear that he was only happy doing what he loved, and that being a con man, but I think it would have felt more right had Saul gone to the meeting thought everything was going to work out then something unexpected happen that blew it all up and that is when he finally threw his hands up and figured, he was just meant to be the con man.

They could have done that with a 2 hour final ep.
